The Problem
The Gadbrook Park BID Board has relied on OneTek's CCTV and ANPR solutions for over six years. While the existing system delivered a strong level of visibility, limitations emerged with traditional PTZ (Pan-Tilt-Zoom) cameras.
Although PTZ cameras offer 360-degree coverage, they can only monitor one direction at a time. As a result, some incidents were missed when cameras were focused elsewhere. Automated timed tours helped mitigate this, but constant mechanical movement increased wear and tear, leading to higher failure rates and maintenance requirements.
The Solution
OneTek replaced failed PTZ cameras with advanced static panoramic cameras, each equipped with four independent lenses. Every lens delivers a dedicated 4K video stream and can be individually positioned to cover a full 360-degree field of view.
By combining static camera placement with ultra-high-resolution imaging, the system provides continuous, comprehensive coverage while significantly improving the ability to review footage and recover evidential detail after an incident.
