OneTek became an integration company by solving problems no one else would touch. What started as IT support in 2008 grew into wireless networks, then CCTV, then fibre, then manufacturing systems. Each capability was built because a client needed something and we found a way to deliver it.

2008
Founded on Integration
Started in Cheshire with IT support and connectivity. From day one, the work was about making disconnected systems talk to each other.
2009
ERP & Intranet Integration
Our first systems integration challenge. We reverse-engineered a client's SQL-based ERP system and enhanced it with intranet technology — connecting their existing data with new tools for communication and workflow. This project set the pattern for everything that followed: understand what's already there, then make it work better.
2011
Wireless Infrastructure
Beamed our first 10Mbps WiFi connection a mile across Winsford Industrial Estate. No provider would take it on. We built the network from scratch.
2012
CCTV Systems Integration
A failing 3-camera CCTV system couldn't work on existing connectivity. We integrated the cameras with our wireless network, built a dedicated hosting server for recording, and handed the monitoring company a system that actually worked. Three separate problems, one integrated solution.
2015
ANPR & Vehicle Intelligence
Installed specialist ANPR cameras with IR cut-off filters at estate entrances. Then went further — expanded the basic search database into a long-term vehicle tracking and analytics platform, integrated with DVLA data to surface richer intelligence on every vehicle captured.
2018
Public WiFi at Scale
Deployed district-wide fibre and public WiFi for a major community event. Full network designed, built, and operational under 6 weeks. GLEEFi proven at scale with almost 200,000 visitors.
2022
Estate Intelligence at Scale
Expanded from 5 to 44 cameras. 31,000+ hours of footage and 350,000+ vehicle movements tracked every month. Smart Place delivering real-time estate-wide visibility.
2024
Smart Place Platform
Smart Place launched as a unified product — CCTV, ANPR, footfall analytics, and environmental monitoring integrated into a single estate intelligence dashboard.

Manufacturing Systems Integration
Our latest milestone brings OneTek into smart manufacturing — integrating production scheduling, quality control, PLC connectivity, and real-time monitoring into a single operational framework.
